We express the President’s and the Board’s of Friends of Children with Cancer “STORGI” warmest thanks for your kind willingness to be” MAIN SPONSOR “of the evening Luxurious Summer Party that was held at Maison Crystal on Monday, June 6th 2011 and whose proceeds will be donated to our Association.

After completing the first major project, the construction in Greece and Southeast Europe of the “Hematology Centre”, we proceed to the construction of the second, also big, project, which is a hostel for sick children and their escorts, when they come from areas outside of Thessaloniki. Your kind offer is a positive contribution to this effort, so as to ensure that sick children enjoy better services. This was exactly the founding thought of “STORGI”. To provide that excess of love having as only reward the joy of a cured child.

Such gestures demonstrate in practice the one person for his or her fellowman.

By thanking you once more we address to you our warm greetings and we wish you wholeheartedly a “Good Summer”.

On the occasion of World’s Day against Drugs, the center for the support of people with addictions “Oasis” and the responsible for the communication of the center and volunteer doctor Popi Kalaitzi organized the formal presentation of the t-shirt of the new campaign “I do ….”, created by the designer and volunteer for the center, Vassilis Zoulias, on Thursday, June 30, 2011, at the bar restaurant “Omilos” in Thessaloniki.
During the charity event, there was an operating point of sale of t-shirts designed by Vassilis Zoulias specifically for OASIS with the message “Be part of the solution and volunteer in Oasis”
The revenues from sales of the T-shirt were placed entirely on the actions of the campaign “I do…Because I Care,” – Be part of the solution and Volunteer in Oasis.
The organizing the event was undertaken by the company Marcom Tzelepoglou. The T-Shirt will be sold at the department store Notos Galleries.

Thessaloniki’s branch of “Thermaides” of the Panhellenic Panathenaic Women’s Organization had on 22nd June its farewell summer party. The event that took place at Maison Crystal had summer mood and the members of the organization were present once more, supporting the effort for the expansion of the Chilldren’s Cardiological Unit of the University Hospital AHEPA.
“Thermaides” were founded on March 2003, by a lawyer, mrs Olga Irakleidi. Ever since then charity and the social activity in Thessaloniki and the surrounding area of Macedonia, concentrate on children’s needs and teenagers with health issues, social reintegration and home environment. The activities of the organization have been awarded by the European Organization of Citizens.
The great sponsors of the event were: Beautyworks, Matt Royall and Black Pearls while sponsors of the effort were once more: Ktima Chantzi, Life Ktisis, G Point and Hellenikon.
Mrs Filio Loumakou and mrs Maria Koniordou were in charge of the decoration while the company Minds oversaw the event. The guests tasted West Coast Cooler and finger food by Gasteraia Catering.
Communication sponsors were the magazine ADORE, the radio station Ant1 97.5 and the television station Makedonia TV. POPULAR PR organized the event.

With the moto: “Change your mood, Change your life”, the young people of Thessaloniki responded for the 3rd year in a row to the initiative of NGO NEOI for the support of the precious work of STORGI, who has set as its basic aim the better care of the children who suffer from neoplastic diseases. The revenue of the event was donated for the goals of STORGI.

The gala took place, this year, in Maison Crystal on Monday 6th June 2011. The main sponsors were Intermed S.A. The fashion show for the new swimwear of Elegance and Elegance + took place during the event. The company was the Great Sponsor. Art director Aris Georgiadis had the inspiration and the guidance for the fashion show. Supporters of the event were the unions: Rotaract Club of Panorama, ACT Alumni, the Scientific Company of Medical Students of Greece and the Local Board of Young People of the Municipality of Thessaloniki.

Gavello jewellery show in Bungalow White

Gavello jewellery presented its new collection at a unique show that took place on Monday 30th 2011 at Bar Restaurant Bungalow White.

The show in Thessaloniki presented exclusive creations at was honored by the presence of Mrs Martha Gavello who watched a show for the very first time.

A part of the earnings has been donated to the association of AMEA of the municipality of Sikies of the branch of Thermaides in Thessaloniki (the Greek Organisation of Women).

The Beautyworks Team was a big sponsor of the event as well as the Laura Mercier products and the handmade mattresses Matt Royal.
Ktima Chantzi and the technical company LifeKtisis were sponsors of the event, while A&D Retzepi was in charge of the decoration.
The travel agency BlueFishTravel & Congress, offered the plane tickets for the models while Minds Communications oversaw the communication’s material.

The ANATOLIA HOTEL, hosted the models for the event GPOINT coiffure had the responsibility for the look of the hair of the models and Nailspot, the responsibility for the look of the nails of the models.

All the guests were offered the tasteful bubble wine Blink. Super Security was in charge of the protection of the jewellery.

CHANTZIS AND CO participated in the Hellenic – Chinese Business Forum 2011 with the theme “Hellenic – Chinese Business Cooperation: New Perspectives”, that was organised by the Hellenic-Chinese Chamber (HCC) and the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery & Electronics Products (CCCME).

The objective of the Hellenic – Chinese Business Forum 2011 “Hellenic – Chinese Business Cooperation: New Perspectives” was to promote exchange of information and create awareness on new business opportunities in fields regarding energy, high technology, automobiles, banking, shipbuilding, commerce (imports – exports), electrical, medical, and pharmaceutical products and equipment, tourism, real estate, communications, etc.

Ktima Chantzi participated, on Wednesday 27th April 2011, in the official welcome, at the Greek-Chinese Commercial and Industrial Chamber in Athens, of the highranking delegacy from Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce (SFIC).

Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce is widely known as Shanghai Chamber of Commerce and it is a non governmental institution established by industries and businesses in the wide area of Shanghai. It was founded on February 1951 and today has more than 27.000 members. All the years of its activity, it has developed relationships with many chambers and industry associations all over the world.

At the event that took place at the offices of the Greek-Chinese Commecial and Industial Chamber, the represantatives of the company TH. CHANTZIS & CO O.E., demonstrated the luxury complex of summer houses KTIMA CHANTZI and the new development project of the company that has entered the phase of realisation, during meetings that were held with the chinese companies which participated in the delegacy.

The main objective of the delegacy was to exchange views with businesses and industries in Greece, so as to promote actively and systematically the business and commercial relationships between Greece and China. The Chinese businesses wish to cooperate with Greek businesses in the areas of: real estate, import of products for saving energy, led lighting, medicine and other products.

The presentations of the construction companies that operate in various areas of Greece, caused the interest of Russian investors. Specifically in Central Greece by the company “LEVENTI A.E.”, in Crete by the company “Ependitiki Crete”, in Chalkidiki by the company “Chantzis & CO. O.E.”, in Tzia by the architect X. Vlaxo, in Pelion by the company “Nea Ktimatiki A.E.” and in Loutraki by the company “Domus Ars”.
That is noted by the GreekRussian Chamber of Commerce in an announcement for the recent events that took place in Athens and Corfu for the update of Russian investors for the oppurtunities that arise in our country.
As mentioned by the Chamber, from the greek side, their interest to cooperate with Russian investors have stated among others groups such as: Mochlos who controls the hotel resort “Porto Carras” in Chalkidiki, the group GEK TERNA, Promitheas Gas of Kapelouzos Group, Lamda Development of Latsis Group, the group J&P Development, the real estate company Aspis Real Estate and a large number of smalle companies and real estate agencies.

Property markets in the US and Europe may be recovering at a generally slow pace, but there’s one category that’s rebounding faster than the rest – luxury property. Across the traditional high-end destinations in the international property market, agents have reported an increase in enquiries and sales for homes above the million mark, as stock market rebounds make the super-rich more secure in their income than they have been in several years.

With Wall Street stock prices now almost double their 2009 lows, property sales are picking up rapidly in the wealthy investor’s first port of call – New York. A total of 70 Manhattan listings above $4 million went into contract last month, the highest number since before the crash in January 2007.

CNN also reports a nationwide increase in luxury property sales across the US. According to real estate data provider DataQuick Information Systems, sales of million-dollar homes rose in all 20 major metropolitan areas across the country last year, with the highest increase in San Jose, California, where sales rose 27.4%. Outside of this bracket, however, sales fell by 2.8%.

Across the pond, British estate agents Knight Frank have also reported an increase in high-end enquiries within their overseas property sector. Liam Bailey, head of residential research at the firm, indentified the Swiss ski resort of St Moritz, the Cap Ferrat area in the French Riviera and the Portuguese golfing haven of the Algarve as hot spots for luxury property investment in 2011. “Wealthy residents from a growing number of countries are investing more of their portfolios in luxury residential property across a wide variety of locations”, said Bailey.

Ktima Chantzi once again supports sports and culture by participating as the grand sponsor of the show “Fashion meets art and sports.
The event was held on Monday, November 1st at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Thessaloniki. Jewelry and furs were presented at the show by ‘MICHAEL’ and «SAMARAS», fashion houses. All proceeds were allocated to the Society “Kallipateira”.

The show was attended by personalities from the sports field and modeling. This gave Voula Patoulidou, Vicky Chatzivasileiou and many other celebrities honored the event with their presence.
